Installed the new my Coolman air conditioner today , a few hrs to install so much better than the old ibiss one 👍👍

I installed this model for a customer the other day. I had never installed one before, in fact...never new it existed. The usual aircons I install are Dometic, Houghton and Truma aircons. This was a new experience. This was a customer supplied Install. His old air con was a Dometic IBIS 3.

Upon opening the box....for the main unit...it was well packaged and was completely fine. I was a little surprised at it's weight though. This aircon was quite light....given it's size.

I then proceeded to open the box to the Plenum. It looked simple, straight forward, but it had two displays instead of one. I'm like....never seen that before. Another thing that I was impressed with....it comes with two Plenum seals. A 360 x 360mm....and a 400 x 400mm in the one kit. Other brands you have to buy an adapter kit. Big Big Tick on that one.

The Installation of this Aircon

It was no different to installing a dometic or houghton etc.....Simple, straight forward, about as easy as you get. And anyone can install it.

First Start Up.

First start up was fine. Aircon ran perfectly as expected. The design and the aesthetics are spot on....then I discovered....the light button. This aircon has a beautiful led light inbedded in the external plenum cover with lots of colors for mood......Very very impressed.

Overall...

I recently installed a new Houghton 3600v on my van. I'm very very happy with it. Off grid use is superb. However, I would also happily install this cool man aircon as well.....The design, the presentation, the displays, the gentle LED lighting.....A really nice aircon.

Installed today, thanks to Mark at Swan Caravan Repair, Bullsbrook WA. Installer said it was a delight to handle and install considering it was 43 degrees. Completed the install, started up no hitches and it cooled a 22 foot retreat to 24 degrees in no time. Impressed. Now to see the longevity for a new system on the market, Hopefully a long time. Happy times ahead.

Installed into a 15ft van, simple and easy. By far the best thing I’ve purchased so far for my van. Phone app is very handy and it’s very easy to control. Would recommend this product 100%. Can’t say much more about it! Does what it’s suppose to

Installed into a 17ft millard horizon im renovating, put in to replace a 22yo four seasons hatch, made a pine frame to reduce thw hole size to 400 and it dropped straight in. Very light, i can hold it up above my head with 1 arm, lined up perfectly. Its quiet, really quiet, but blows good cold air. It was 30c today and it pulled the van temp down tp 20c in a little over 15 minutes then throttled down.
