Thermistor Replacement x 2

Replacement thermistors worked well. Even though only one was faulty I had to buy 2 of them as I have the 85L dual compartment and it’s recommended that both are replaced at the same time. Nearly $100 all up after excessive postage cost. Reasonably easy to changeover. It’s just a real shame that I even had to pay for these as the manufacturer is well aware of a faulty batch of thermistors. Fridge has had little use and is outside of warranty.

Easy replacement but buy another spare

We were really disappointed at how quickly we needed to buy a new thermostat as the MyCoolman car fridge hasn’t been used all that often, but it was an easy enough exercise to get a replacement and fit it. However the shipping cost was very expensive so we did what another reviewer suggested and bought 2 ready for the next time it dies.

Ok .

I’ve just bought the 44L weekender used,
The woman said it had only been used twice but I think its been more than that.

The construction of the fridge is great. Seems a solid build and the fold down handles are nice.

Its a shame the lid opens length ways as it limits where it can be situated. I find with its height it won’t fit in the tub under my tub rack. And I took the rear seats out of my hilux to avoid the lid hittint the roof liner.

Plugs either end of the fridge are handy.
I do find the fridge quite heavy, and it seems to warm up pretty quick as soon as its powered down. It went from -2 to 6 degrees in the space of about 45mins- an hour.
I’ve noticed the silicone joints inside have split so any leakages inside the fridge seep in behind the white liner.
